Spectre Duck Updates #1


Hey guys.

Just wanted to start keeping updates in the same place & not the game page.

Update 26/11/25: 

  • Bug: Pickup obscured by score. Fixed.
  • Bug: Spawning position of square immediately looping to other side. Fixed.
  • Bug: Charge meter incrementing incorrectly. Fixed.
  • Quality of Life: Bricks now flicker when looping the screen for better readability & fairer deaths. Lowered volume for less annoyance.
  • Quality of Life: Increased brick spawn timer, since the challenge should be from the amount of powerups getting higher, not flooding the screen with bricks.
  • Mechanics: Added speedup mechanic upon collecting P-Spheres in quick succession. Let's see how it goes!
  • Quality of Life: Added speedometer, because it's helpful.

Update 27/11/25:

  • New cover art.
  • Updated game name to Spectre Duck, because I like it better.
  • Mechanics: Added mechanic where getting close to bricks highlights them over time, leaving behind a score pickup when they are busted.

Update 28/11/25:

  • Mechanics: I've tied movement speed to how quickly you highlight bricks, for added risk/reward.
